My name is Juliet Tibagonzeka I am the Executive Director of Goshen’s Fountain of Nutrition and Health. I am a Human Nutritionist by profession with a background in Food Processing Technology. I have been married for 17 years to my husband Wamatsembe Isaac Newton, we are blessed with 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys. We love to spend time in our garden, cooking delicious foods, and spending time with family. We are residents of Nasuuti Village, Mukono, Uganda. As a family, we are all followers of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God.

In the year 2015, my husband and I finally responded to God’s call of supporting the vulnerable and disadvantaged children by officially registering a non- profit organization called Goshen’s Fountain of Nutrition & Health. We started by offering an early morning breakfast of nutritious porridge that we made ourselves for some children in need every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We also engaged their caregivers in a nutrition education programs. Since then, we have not looked back after discovering our true calling and purpose for living.

Today, we delight in seeing children and women’s livelihoods improve because we believe a population of healthy children and empowered women is essential. Through a variety of community engagements ranging from nutrition education, HIV screening and education, farming technique workshops, hygiene and sanitation clinics, and home visits, Goshens is making a difference in our community one day and one person at a time. Through all of these engagements, Goshens is able to invite in those with a variety of needs and love on them through the Gospel and leave them with the skills that will make a tangible difference in their lives and the lives of their families.

We cannot wait to see what God will continue to do through Goshens in the years to come.
